did anyone see wfor's desperate attempt to jump on the bill kamal band wagon. painfully embarrassing. billing some lame videotape as exclusive. a police videotape of kamal being arrested. wow - exclusive really bad grainy video instead of the broadcast quality videotape EVERY station has of the kamal perp walk. maggie and robbbb look horrified when they had to intro the piece. |

What amazes me about wfor is that they can send their top reporters all over the world getting great exclusives and stories like Lybia, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc...then turn around and put complete crap on the air. That Kamal story was dreadful. The producing with the drama style music and graphics are overplayed and tired. They send mixed messages with their newscast. It's either great (rare) or just awful. The rookie reporters they have there are no better than UM students, the story selection is terrible and the quality is the WORST in the market. When I watch their newscast it looks like my TV has a soft filter on it. Hopefully the new GM will see it as a horse that has run it's last race and bring in a more competitive, ethical and professional approach.
