how bad this station is...I've been in biz more than 18 years and I can you it's up there with the worse.
Yes...all stations have problems, gossips, etc...BUT as mentioned..MOST bosses ignore the crap and try to weigh it objectively.
This "newbie" ND listens to the crap without research..not only is that childish ..it isn't professional...."professioal" being the operative word here..no one there is professional..from some of the back-stabbing producers to the jealous reporters to the unfit photogs ..it is a disaster that worsens daily..where the element of hate reeks throughout the building. |

As suited4gear suggests, you obviously know NOTHING about what goes on inside the station, so mind your own business. There is an absolute element of hate in that building, the morale is horrendous, everyone gripes and moans and talks about everyone else, new people get trashed until they get so fed up they quit
and all the while the ND and joke of asst. ND and managing editor all sit on their fat as##s and pretend nothing is wrong. Then again I guess it's hard to know when something is wrong, that would mean you would have to actually pay attention to YOUR "news" product AND watch the competition beat us every day on local and breaking news stories. Instead of just popping in every now and then to meetings and hearing the "desks"good spin on things. OPEN YOUR EYES instead of the newspaper for stories.
