It's not quite the redneck haven you think. Pro sports have enhanced the city's reputation and the downtown is growing. Nashville ranks with Charlotte, Tampa, and Atlant for livability. Plus, no state income tax. |

Nashville is cool---but it wears out its welcome quick. I moved here and few years ago and I don't think the market is an competitive as CloudKing will lead you to believe. The people are nice---but in that Southern sort of way--like nice to your face and will talk about you behind your back. It's not that sophisticated either---BUT it's cheap to live and there is plenty to do----that is if you like country music....The summers are HOT AND HUMID! And the food is fried---hope you like Sweet Tea.
In terms of stations---Ch5 and Ch4 are the best in terms of numbers--Ch2 is starting to climb back---They have a new ND that appears to be doing different things.
