Show me a newsroom that isn't gossipy I dare you! EVERY place is a gossip shop and it all filters to the ND and the ND always takes the wrong bite out of hte pie and runs with it... Just grow up and stay out of the mix...

the problems began when Fox corporate decided a shake up was needed two years ago. Even though the station had come off record ratings in late 2002 and early 2003 the home office replaced most of the management team and for some reason felt really good about themselves.
The fact is all those changes have had little, if any impact. They have not improved the situation or the product. In fact, the product is worse and the ratings have been horrible with the possible exception of the morning show, which with it's exclusive on localism should have improved if for no other reason than the lack of competition anyway. Good people have been released or left for other opportunties. For years previous management begged for the kind of support the new GM got from day one: improvement in set, technical upgrades, ANYTHING. All they got from LA was "NO" with a capital "N".
The problem with that station, and most Fox O&O's, is at the top..in LA, Washington and the spineless station GM. They all should be kicked out to door for what has happened to what used to be one really great place to work and watch. What a sad statement on this business in general as that is now the norm in most cases in this TV conglomerate world.
