According to TV Week. 6pm KNBC anchor, Michelle Ruiz resigned.

Award-winning KNBC-TV news anchor Michele Ruiz will leave her position at the Los Angeles station, she announced Thursday.
"As I look ahead, I need to make a change to accomplish my goals," Ms. Ruiz said in a statement. She has been off the air recovering from surgery and decided not to return, according to the statement.
Ms. Ruiz's permanent successor has not been chosen, a spokesperson for KNBC-TV said.
In a statement released Thursday, KNBC-TV president and general manager Paula Madison said, "Michele Ruiz is leaving to pursue opportunities KNBC cannot offer her. During her tenure here, Michele has distinguished herself by her award winning work, including numerous exclusives. We wish her the very best in her future endeavors."
