Fewer and fewer people are watching local television stations (have you heard of cable???). Thus, less viwers mean less revenue.... WE'VE GOT TO DO STUFF DIFFERENTLY. Local stations doing local news will go the way of daily newspapers... the big cities will end up with one or maybe 2 local stations doing news. Some will morph into something like community newspapers... weekly reports. Get use to. If you're operating your business model like you did 50 years ago (which local TV is still doing), you will die.
If you can't deal with change, go work at Starbucks!
