why should we have to do more work than necessary? they just hired us to look pretty and read the news. |

to that question, there's no sesne trying to explain it to you.. you are the face of the station..but you'ree alos the de facto leader of the news department.. i know, you didn't sign up for that part..but every shop i've ever worked at.. in fact, any shop i've ever SEEN, can calculate how the morale of the staff is going to be by how the anchors..the "stars"..interrelate with the worker bees..a good relationship with them seems to make for a happier shop.. don't ask me why.. i've just seen it happen..good AND bad..over the 38+ years i've been doing this..and for the previous poster.. i'll say again what i've said MANY times.. were i king of the news world for one day, and could make one unbreakable rule, it would be that photogs get paid.. to the PENNY..what reporters do..
face it, folks.. without photogs, we're all doing radio..
