many of the people who get hired these days as "reporters" DON'T have any story ideas, or any idea of how to find them.
this would force ND's to hire actual people with a clue.

watched grown men and women sqirm like children when asked for input.
I have seen them pretend they had an idea, but, "Julie already took my idea, so I got nothing else." "yeah, I was gonna say that too." "I saw this in the paper today, and it looks good"
People! get in touch with your community!!! Get in tune with what is relevant to your market!
then, you won't have to cover the stupid community event the GM wants to see on the 5pm news.
