If you're open to any type of Broadcasting..
City of College Station has a A/V-Cable department now, I believe, and a former KBTXer Charlie Haldeman heads it up. Call him and see if there is any opportunities. Also, the City of Bryan may have same or at least want to do their own Cable TV. These are viable options in BCS that doesn't have much to offer via traditional Broadcast TV. I lived and worked at KBTX for nearly 3 years, my recommendation is to look beyond KRHD/KBTX. With your skills...you'll be happier and less stressed.
The region is growing and you're not far from anything in the State. We enjoyed living in CS. |

during lunch today. Saw the gov't access channel- all the doors were unlocked and nobody to be found. Couldn't believe that. I could have knocked them off the air if I wanted to. Shame. Don't think I'll be going back there- except to pay a bill!
