Does anyone know of any stations that are currently doing this now and succeeding at it?
I know Belo tried this with their 24 hour news stations in Texans and it failed.
Yes, with today's technology anyone can point a camera and edit. Give me a scapel and I can perform brain sugery. That doesn't mean you'll like the results. |

it's all New York 1's fault.
they do it.
place sucks.
video sucks.
news coverage sucks.
BUT BUT BUT, it's cheap cheap cheap.
The difference is NY1 is supported by Time Warner and helps sell its cable. NY1 breaks even and that's it. I wonder if a non-cabler can do it and keep viewers and thus, advertising.
