Who in their right mind would work as a scab? |

1. A strike vote is routine. It's all part of the game.
2. The threat to bring in "scabs" is also routine. In the event of a strike, CBS would probably use management people from other O's or NY to do the non-on air functions like producing and writing. As for talent, that would be an interesting dilemna-- if it really gets down to that, you would probably see certain on-air types making tough decisions about whether or not to honor a picket line.
3. It will probably never come to any of the above. A strike would solve nothing-- CBS would take a strike indefinately (they've done it before with the WGA and IBEW in the 80's) and the only people to lose would be the union. The viewers might be curious for a day or two, then will cease to give a shit.
