That is hard to answer. An agent and their worth, in my estimation, can be judged on what they can do for you, not the rest of their clients. In that regard, N.S. Bienstock and Ken Lindner I would guess have much bigger client bases than Gevers, but then again they also have more agents. If Rick is working by himself, in comparision, he is going to have fewer clients, but if all of them seem happy and he has a good reputation and his name will get your tape into a VCR, then I would guess he would be as effective as anybody else in the agent business. |

I would go with Rick! He works hard for his clients because he IS much smaller compared to the big agencies. You won't have to worry about him not returning your call. Every news director I have ever spoken to only has good things to say about him. AND in my experience he has always steered me toward stations with good reputations. I can't say the same about some of my friends who are represented by "big" agencies that will send them anywhere to make a commission.
