Topic Name: KYW/AFTRA Strike Vote Message Name: This is appalling Date Posted: 05/11/2005 In Reply To: Negotiations with CBS resume Thursday, and this time, the union has the upper hand. Word is, KYW is trying to bring-in scabs from Miami and Salt Lake City O&O's [both are non-AFTRA] to fill-in for striking AFTRAns. Not a great career move for anyone trying to get to strong union market like Philly. Message: Who in their right mind would work as a scab?
