I'm confident that I'm ready to move to a top-ten market from the top-fifty I'm in now.
I've had 2 agents in my career and both experiences were nightmarish. However, I don't think all agents are evil. The fact is, I hate the idea of having to trust an agent - not knowing what they're doing, how they're doing it, who they're doing it to, and who else they're doing it with. And the cut most of them want makes me choke.
Say I have a solid tape that I THINK I can get an ND to view without an agent's help.
Question: Do you think it raises suspicion in a prospective employer's mind - to not be represented at this level?
Do you think it may suggest you couldn't get representation for some reason or that you're an amateur... or that you have baggage? |
