Topic Name: KYW/AFTRA Strike Vote Message Name: Overwhelming Vote...Yes Date Posted: 05/11/2005 Message: Negotiations with CBS resume Thursday, and this time, the union has the upper hand. Word is, KYW is trying to bring-in scabs from Miami and Salt Lake City O&O's [both are non-AFTRA] to fill-in for striking AFTRAns. Not a great career move for anyone trying to get to strong union market like Philly.
