Sitting in that meeting was a total waste of time! Mr. Walton, I love how you dodged the salary question. Dodge and weave. Great move. How much was your salary increase this year?
Everyone forgot what CNN is about. It is about Breaking News. People want to tune in, see what is happening and get back to their lives. Faux is about loud people with opinions. When you realize that things can change.
I think Mr. Crammer, Mr. Walton, and Mr. Klien should have several meetings with employees WITHOUT supervisors and managers. The problem with CNN is that middle management is not doing their jobs. Ask how many employees had their Common Merrit Review on time or at all. Not many! Six weeks overdue and counting. It is this layer that is causing problems within the company. Once that layer is removed or changed, a better CNN will emerge.
