KTRK is dominant in the mornings - but the race for 2nd is between KHOU (the CBS affil) and KPRC (the NBC affil.) KPRC and KHOU have very different sytles, with KHOU being a stagnant, bread 'n butter kind of a show. KPRC has been getting better, but they seem to have a revolving reporters door recently and their format always changes. I do like their team the most, followed by KTRK. KHOU does nothing for me - and KRIV is bottom of the barrel. They may be improving, but any improvment from hash marks is seen as a "monster" improvement. Too flashy and trashy for my liking.
Bottom like - KTRK will always be number one. Get used to it! |
