Shockingly the ND at WSVN is a mom. She still seems to do a great job, must not have 'softened' too much.
And the boss at WFOR is a mom. That's a solid shop. Maybe women are learning to work it.. maybe they have more hands-on Assist. ND's.

Just because people aren't replying doesn't mean the ND Moms (NDM's - not WMD's) don't exist.
Baltimore WBAL has a NDM, there is nothing weak or softened about her.
Remember: *good* moms aren't wimpy.
If anything, I believe *good* moms make better news directors because they learn how to deal with children, make irrational people do things they don't want to do and generally learn how to ignore a lot of whining.
