I don't care what their motivation is... I see it as a personal opportunity to do a new brand of news, to acquire skills, to experiment, to look for the possibilities.
I leave the motivations to management. If they sell, they sell. If I lose my job, well that could happen anyway. In the meantime, I plan to work my ass off and try to build something.
If we succeed at KRON, great. If we don't, there are always places I can get a job doing tv the old way... |

Good luck to you, smi2le. I admire your spirit even though I think you're being duped by management. There's probably no harm in trying, as long as you go into it knowing (as you seem to) that the odds are against you. Please keep your options open, though. If it doesn't work out and you decide to jump ship you may find that all the lifeboats are full.
