The point of the matter is KRON management and Young don't give a shit about breaking ground, they want to save money and keep the doors open. Their motivation is the disheartening part....if they truly wanted to revolutionize the station/industry it wouldn't be overshadowed by the fact that we're about to declare bankruptcy. You are nieve "smi2le" if you think this is exciting....the motivation isn't to "try something new and innovative" it's to save a buck and sell the station. THINK OUT OF THE BOX! |

I don't care what their motivation is... I see it as a personal opportunity to do a new brand of news, to acquire skills, to experiment, to look for the possibilities.
I leave the motivations to management. If they sell, they sell. If I lose my job, well that could happen anyway. In the meantime, I plan to work my ass off and try to build something.
If we succeed at KRON, great. If we don't, there are always places I can get a job doing tv the old way...
