Okay...I'm a 10 staffer and I'll agree with "weary" that many posters (including some of us at 10) ARE petty and negative.
We ARE excited about the new set and glossy graphics...but there's a lot of fine tuning and audio bugs to work out!
So, anyway, here goes...25, you DO perform an exceptional job in our area and are a great competitor. You make the most of your resources and we ARE watching you!
6...you've raised awareness of the importance of more local news coverage. You've awakened some assignment staffers at the other two shops I'm sure!
Believe it or not, many of us at KWTX have a healthy respect for our cross-town news ops. It's time one of us stepped up and said it publicly.

I have to agree.. a competitive market makes everyone... at every station better. It is what you do with what you have that counts.
Let's face it.. It comes down to winning the "Big" stories. You have throw everything you have at them when they hit. Sloan Stepping Down, Mae Jackson's Death, Bush, Martin, Fox... Lady Bears... The day to day stuff is just filler. You trip and fall on the big stories.. you lose.
