Topic Name: EMMIS SALE Message Name: KOIN Date Posted: 05/10/2005 In Reply To: Speculate all you want, but I would doubt any group would want to take all of Emmis' TV stations. Hearst would have redundancy in Honolulu and Albuquerque to start. Belo already has a station in Portland. Gannett might be interested. It could be like something that happened about 10 years ago where Hearst and Gannett swapped stations. Kind of like sports--a sign and trade deal. Message: the next CBS O&O?
