WSB's Monica Kaufman is one of the laziest anchors working today. She had no interest in writing or covering "hard news." Celebrity interviews are Monica's staple.
What's even more troubling about this "Queen of Atlanta Local TV" is that Monica Kaufman actively lobbies management against reporting substantive stories, which in Monica's eyes, prove embarassing to the City of Atlanta. As she did, back in the mid to late 80's, Monica has managed to influence her station's non-coverage of new developments in Atlanta's "Missing and Murdered Cases" and the conviction of Wayne Williams.
Kaufman remains publically vocal about her belief that Williams is guilty as charged, received a fair trial and that he was convicted without political pressures.
