It just struck me how truly sad this situation is. For years, KRON 4 was the dominant station in the market...how far this outfit has fallen. There are so many incredible reporters, anchors, photographers, writers, producers, editors, assignment editors, who have stayed with this station through the switch over...stood by waiting with baited breath through layoffs...only to find out that we are no functioning at the market 185 level. How in the hell can this happen? There must be some law that has been violated...some wrong that can be made right. Careers like Vic Lee's will be blackened with this disgusting blemish...how horribly sad that he and others dedicated years to this station only to be told to pick up a camera...and oh by the way if you can't play ball there's the door. It's hard to even go back to work...still many will stay and ride this out, however uncertain our futures may be. I almost felt like I had been punched in the stomach yesterday. WOW...Young Broadcasting do you feel any sense of remorse at all for taking a star Bay Area station and slowly carving it into a joke. Shame on you corporate suits...I hope you come back as a porta potty!
