Topic Name: Needed: Resume Tape Message Name: get an off-air job Date Posted: 05/10/2005 Message: I worked as a writer in a big market and would work to get stuff for my tape on my off time. I went out with photogs and shot standups and then reworked the stories to make them my own. Doing something like this is better in the long run than paying to have a tape made. You'll get more experience and you'll get to see first hand the real work it involves to be a reporter.
