Just like exploding a bomb in the stations. Announcing a sale is NOT how stations are usually sold. When it's announced, the value of the stations goes down. Advertisers retreat and also pay slower (there's a business plus for you), morale is bottom of the barrel, nothing will be spent to maintain, and expenses will be cut to make the stations look more attractive. I feel so badly for the good folks who are counting on Emmis on being professional. |
