Are any of the other Young stations slated to switch to one man bands too? I'm sorry but I just think it sounds ridiculous for people in a top 5 market with years of experience and respectability to lug a camera around again. They've paid their dues. It just isn't right. |

Right on, Sapphire.
Take a look at the bio page on their website. One of their reporters has worked there for over TWENTY years!! Here's a nice "thank you" for your two decades of loyalty ... and they have the gall to paint it as an "exciting time!"
I feel very sorry for these people who worked years and years to get to where they are, only to have everything taken from them. But, maybe, just maybe, seeing this happen in a top 5 market will make more people realize what a sorry state this business is in.
