Topic Name: It's a shame about SNL... Message Name: How can anyone.. Date Posted: 05/09/2005 Message: say that SNL is any good right now? Are you supporters just trying to get a reaction. Except for presidential impersonations.. the writing and the acting has gone to hell. Maya Rudolph is talented but seems to get added to some terribly written skits. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler aren't funny anymore on Weekend Update because the humor is terrible. They need to start by firing every single writer they have other than Tina Fey. Then they can work on the crappy cast. In the old days.. a guest host would add to the talent. Now they need a guest host who can BRING THE TALENT. Thank God for Will Ferrell this week
