you have no clue what you're talking about...let me break it down for you.
WB 17 is on the outside looking in...they are NOT competition in Philly since they cannot even compete with FOX..the other 10pm newscast.
WB17 makes it easy for FOX to win because they don't even try and they use a lame promo saying : ALl the news in 30-minutes..pleas.
FOX has more reporters, hour-long newscasts and they compete with morning shows...WB only has ONE DAILY half hour newscast ..simply put viewers get their news elsewhere even if they watch a show on WB they WILL switch..the newscast has NO identity and the one person people did identify with the station was dissed and rightfully left...main anchor TONI YATES.
Philly is a town that really never got used to 10pm newscast anyway and viewers still count on 3,6 and 10 as major news source..and one other thing...THE MOST TELLING thing is being on the street holding a camera or mic with WB17 on it..people don't even know who you are..
So..again who ever this chick is..no one cares. |

I'm curious if suited for gear has even worked in philly. i have.. i've grown up there.. and i used to work with keptner.. she's professional.. philadelphia talent indeed. worked her way there with honest work.
sure, channel 17 may struggle.. but give them credit for a good hire like codnewsbabe said.
