I don't think the three-anchor format on "GMA" will last long. The smart money says this is a temporary arrangement until Gibson or Sawyer decides to move on in the coming months. A tri-anchor format has never worked on any network broadcast; "Today" has tried it twice in its history with little success, and "The Early Show" (with 4 anchors!) isn't much more comprehensible.
