In Reply To: What is a fair price for an attorney to negotiate a contract? It's for an anchor position. The attny has worked with many in the biz for several decades. Any other thoughts would be appreciated too. Thank you for the help.
Message: by the hour. It depends on how much 'negotiating' is involved, how many calls, letters, etc. My guy charges $300 an hour, but that's still a heck of a lot cheaper than some agent reaching into my paycheck every month for eternity. Last time, I think I paid about $7,000 for his services. Others may charge a flat fee.
