i know... it's awful. i know... i'll always be the "freelance person".
but who hires the most freelancers? who is best to approach -- the nd, ep, asst nd?

i left for a while...couldn't wait to get back to chicago. although i'm not on-air, i too had to freelance first in order to come home. from what i've seen in the 2 shops i work at, any way you can talk to an ep or nd will work...either seem to be the decision makers that can set you up. if you need a staff gig, cltv might be a good choice until you get something more substantial. good luck!
