it's the management that makes the difference. we've seen anchors change channels for years, and it doesn't help. but a solid, well produced newscast wins every time. bxhss makes some good points. ch 7 didn't get hurt when diaz and harold and the others left... they get hurt because their newscast are slow, boring, and full of manufactured breaking news.
why doesn't management or the producers change the way they present the news. "breaking news" my ass... it's often so old its ridiculous. new blood is needed. |

Diaz was the first and only hispanic main anchor at an O&O, beloved in her community. Latinos are loyal viewers, I think, and she took them with her.
