Alcohol is a dangerous thing and to those of you who have problems with it.. try to keep a positive attitude until you find the courage to get help Message: ..getting back to the point. YES..you must disclose you are in the program. It has less to do with YOU..and more to do with the integrity of the reporting. You must disclose it. to your ND to your viewers..etc. OR.. Tell your ND you have a personal conflict or connection and that you need someone else assigned to the story. BUT...for the sake of integrity.. Don't hide it from the viewer IF you do the story.
