doesn't stand a chance at WNBC. Too much middle management making too many off the cuff decisions. No one talks to eachother. There is no support for desk managers, aside from the kid in town from Florida for the summer. The desk is set up, literally, SET UP TO FAIL in that shop. Until that changes, WNBC is in for more unhappy crews, reporters, producers and managers...because it starts and ends with the desk and no one in that shop seems to understand that. |

Their news judgement seems to be way off.
Desk is slow to react...probably because like you said management is making poor decisions. The new hires are BORING. They are in trouble.
