I don't think Jon Kelly would have allowed KCRA to take part in this. Sort of like the late 70's and early 80's when NBC prime time programing was so bad KCRA ran THEIR public affairs shows instead.
Last numbers I saw, as of the end of 2004, only 10% of the households in the market had DTVs, so seems kind of a wasted effort. No doubt the FCC is going to extend the December 2006 phase out of analog.....since the law required 85% of the households to have DTV before analog can go away. |
