If you have instincts to obsess about the business already (and we all do if we're on this webpage), it'll be a downward spiral. Find someone outside the business who can keep things fresher.
Message: Unless you find someone who is ultra supportive and willing to listen to you gripe, it's very hard to be married to someone who doesn't "get it." As journalists, we tend to dance on the darker side of things. Our lives, at work, have to have some sort of negative spin, otherwise, naturally there is no story. How can someone who has no idea about that, understand it? How can you try to explain a bad day at work to someone who may have spent the day drilling teeth? You can't. It's a catch 22.
