you might have a point. it's definatly a problem being so passive..
but, i put the question up on the board to see if anyone had tips about how to be more assertive in the newsroom... |

Don't become a DIVA, that is soooo destructive.
You can't please everybody, but always be sincere and nice...to all people at the station...from the house-keepers to the General Manager.
There is a time to be assertive - if someone is trying to take advantage of you.
