Which station/owner is the best in the market? Looking to start as a reporter at one of the stations. Just curious as to what the work environment of the newsroom is like...ratings...management...pay all the ins and outs would help. |

the management is somewhat differnent from when I was there. The ND is rather young, used to be the EP, became ND after the previous crack pot was fired. Some of the people (anchors only) are great to work with and are extremely helpful to young talent. Now, Media General owns WRBL and that company..well do your homework on them. WTVM is the number one station in that market, from what I understand they have their own issues.
I am thankful for my experience I had there, but I would not go back at all!!!
Bottom line, the people are pretty good.
