the thought of KCBS suddenly taking over the LA news market doesn't exactly strike fear in the hearts of KABC and KNBC.
the truth is - if KCBS can't win the 11pm with CBS's stellar programming now -- its likely they never will.
give them credit -- the money is clearly being spent to go after name-recognition talent -- however, KCBS needs to stick to an anchor team for more than just 2-3 years w/ each hire to get some traction in the market. |

I'm just pointing out that I've never seen a station run so scared by KCBS as to start a promo campiagn about a new lens for its chopper to coincide with Johnnie's first weekday on KCBS!!
