thanks for the reply. I called my friend and he corrected me on the offered salary. It was $65k in year 1, then low 70s in years 2 & 3. My mistake. That offer, by the way, was in 1997. Pretty good coin for Portland almost 10 years ago. I remember one popular feature reporter (who has since died) was getting almost $100k in Portland. Really. |
