Topic Name: Host gigs on Cable Message Name: How do you get them? Date Posted: 05/07/2005 Message: I've called production companies and talked to a few agents about jobs hosting shows on cable (HGTV, TLC, National Geographic, travel, etc.) Anybody have any advice on how to get these gigs? I know it's almost all freelance, which is what I want, but I can't seem to find the best way to find out about audtions and openings. Any recommendations on agents or contacts?
