They're running promos how "Eyewitness News will change forever starting Monday,: coincind with Johnnie's first weekday on KCBS.
I bet they're getting a new piece of equipment. Remember- equipment doesn't ask for a raise.
One week into sweeps, KABC is third at 11. I guess those "rejects" are working on 2! |

what bxhss fails to mention is KCBS barely beats KABC at 11 despite HUGE lead in advantages at 10:45 for Ch 2.
People still tune out 2 in droves at 11pm. The only thing happening to help KCBS is better prime programming at 10pm. Johnny Mountain will help as much as Laura Diaz and Paul Magers have helped. I think Diaz and Magers still come in around 4th or 5th place at 5pm without the help from prime time. I would think KABC and KNBC aren't even slightly scared.
