Any thoughts on Medford, Oregon as an entry-level market (as well as other Oregon locales)? |

There are quite a few starters to choose from:
Roseburg
Coos Bay
Klamath Falls
Medford
Bend
Ashland
Of the six, Bend is far and away the best (take it from someone who DIDN'T start there). Steer clear of Coos Bay and Roseburg. Medford might be OK. It's growing quite a bit. KEZI (the best product in Eugene) is hiring for a Coos Bay bureau reporter right now. I know they usually write in to the contract that you'll move to Eugene in a year or two.
