Please note the following
change in corporate identity
at ABC. As illustrated by Friday's edition of "20-20"
featuring our in-depth look at
"LOST", there is no longer an
ABC News Division. ABC/Disney
will now call it the Information Unit. (AKA-Corporate Blow-Job section).
And David Weston becomes our
Misiionary-in-Chief. The
early evening show will now
be known as ABC "World Information Tonight". "20/20"
and "Prime Time Live" will
stay as is and Good Morning
America needs no name-change
either.
We appreciate the fact that
ABC News once stood for
quality and hard work. But
shilling for the Mouse is
what now pays the bills.(Even
the late Roone Arledge knew
where to draw the line.) Mr.
Weston, despite his posturing.
has no idea what that line is.
And that'sokay because Disney
has a nice retirement package
ready for him when his mission
to totally neuter the Division
is completed.

A terrible decision by the suits at ABC to have the in-depth "report" about "LOST" on "20/20".
I have now lost all respect for Elizabeth Vargas. She can take over for Peter Jennings when hell freezes over.
