Before you say no can do make sure you let everyone else know what station you will soon be leaving ... there are about 100 other candidates lining up to take that assignment and any other that you WOULD have been assigned to. |

Look...despite what the others are saying...I've been there. I didn't say anything...and my relationships to some people in my circle just 'happened' to come up during testimony in the criminal investigation of someone I just 'happened' to be acquainted with. Prosecutors use media types to gather more witnesses...and my name ended up in the paper. My advice to you...cover your a**. If there's a conflict of interest, tell them. Trust me, it's better than waking up and finding out in the paper. In the meantime...get into private therapy. You're a public figure. Anything you do can become public record. Good luck.
