Are the higher talented on-air personalities employed at the larger, city markets because larger markets are more sophisticated and higher talent is required? Or is it because the larger markets pay more (due to more income) and the better you are the more you can make? |

There are some people of suspect quality in the biggest markets, just like some really talented people never make it out of the small time. I suppose every business is like that in some ways. When I first started out in the biz a very wise person told me that "Every market, no matter how big or how small has good people and bad people." Found that to be true across the board.
