You don't have to tell the boss that it is YOU. All you need to say is this is a difficult subject for you to cover because of a personal experience in your family, and you would prefer not to do this one. If he presses you for details, just say you are not comfortable talking about it. |

Are we so pussyfied, so lazy, so self-indulged that a subject could possibly be too "difficult" to cover?
Grow up and do your job!
You think it's difficult to talk about? How about the difficulty for the shooter having to carry all the gear up 3 flights of stairs to get the interview, or have to dodge cars to get you that traffi shot? Or just put up with reporters all day?
How could any of our jobs be difficult when man and women wake up everymorning and face the possibility of death on the job? In Irac, on ships at sea, serving drinks and a flying gas can on an Atlanta to LA run 4 times a week.
Again, grow up, grow a pair and do your job. I don't want to hear anymore of your wining.
