Not as Jiminy Glick but as a Jack LaLanne-type with the hots for Jessica Walter. Pee in your pants funny! I kind of like Jiminy Glick, but I sometimes feel like it's such an inside joke that I just don't get it. I think it's meant to provoke the celebs into doing something uncharacteristic (like Ali G), but they all seem to find Jiminy funny, so that doesn't really happen. |

The character is based in large part on a Canadian celebrity interviewer from Short's hometown of Hamilton near Toronto by the name of Brian Linehan. Linehan was known for his meticulous research into stuff that even the celebs had forgotten. Short even parodied Linehan in the 80's while at SCTV with a character called "Brock Linehan." So you could say that Short has been doing this character for 20+ years.
