I've read and heard the pros and cons of having an agent but took the plunge and signed a few months ago. So far, so good. He keeps me updated on where tapes go and what he hears back. I spoke with some of his clients and they all were happy. No money out of my pocket until he finds a job for me ... which as redrocks points out - is how it should be. Of course true test will be if he delivers on a job! I will admit it's very strange not to be in charge of my own job search. |
